The Central Marin Fire Authority's governing board will consider raising ambulance service fees when it meets Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at 250 Doherty Drive in Larkspur.

Resolution 2026/08, one of two business items on the posted agenda, would amend rates for Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support services and supplies. Staff recommends adoption.

The specific dollar amounts were not included in the publicly available agenda document.

A second resolution, 2026/07, would authorize the authority's executive manager to perform administrative claim functions on behalf of the agency.

The meeting is the Fire Council's first since May 14, a roughly three-month gap. The next regular session is not scheduled until Nov. 12.

Who sits on the Fire Council

The four-member board includes Pat Ravasio and Rosa Thomas representing Corte Madera, and Stephanie Andre and Scot Candell representing Larkspur. The joint powers authority, formed in 2018 by merging the two towns' fire departments, operates four stations across Corte Madera, Larkspur and Greenbrae.

Routine items include approval of minutes from the May 14 meeting, a CalPERS pay schedule for fiscal year 2026-2027, accounts payable warrants from April through June, and a revenue and expenditure report for the General Fund and Measure C Fire Tax Fund through June 30. Measure C is a 2020 Marin County tax that funds wildfire prevention programs including defensible space inspections and home-hardening evaluations in Corte Madera and Larkspur.
