Farm House Local, the breakfast-and-lunch spot that has drawn weekend lines to downtown Larkspur since 2013, is back open after closing for an undisclosed period.

The restaurant at 25 Ward Street resumed service Saturday, August 1, according to a Patch AM newsletter citing a Nextdoor post from a Rose Lane neighborhood resident. The restaurant's online ordering system confirms active hours for the week of August 2–8.

Chef and owner David Monson founded Farm House Local in March 2013 with a focus on locally sourced, seasonal cooking. Monson trained in Paris in 1987 at the Chambre de Commerce, Ecole Ferrandi, and cooked under Wolfgang Puck, Jeremiah Tower, and Patrick Glennon before opening his own place in Larkspur. Financial partner Jeanine Thomas is also named on the restaurant's website.

The current summer menu includes White Peach French Toast with Saffron-Orange Sauce, Warm Peach, Fig and Goat Cheese Salad, and Summer Corn and Shrimp Chowder.

A Rose Lane resident posted that on Nextdoor on Saturday, August 1, the day the restaurant returned.

Farm House Local serves dine-in from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, with takeout available until 2 p.m. The restaurant offers indoor seating and a shaded patio. Reservations are accepted for parties of five or more on weekdays and six or more on weekends, with a $10-per-guest non-refundable deposit.
